The door in question led to the office of Professor Hanneman, who was pacing about and fiddling with one of his strange contraptions while Edelgard stood respectfully in the corner.
“I sense some strange energy coming from behind that door, you better go check it out!” Her constant intrusion into Byleth’s mind was just another thing he had to stress over. “Hey, what’s going on here?” Inquired Sothis, the green-haired enigma that only Byleth could hear. Inside his mind, he silently cursed himself for his spinelessness before a second voice rang in his skull. He always accepted tasks asked of him without a word due to his lack of duties around the academy.
